Kori, what you are doing is great. I try to donate money to St. Jude once a year on my step-father's birthday in his honor. He passed to cancer a couple years ago. All he asked was that we helped in finding a cure for cancer. He even donated his own body to science for that reason. Many times, we wonder if the little things that we are doing make a difference. It is very encouraging to hear a story like yours. I hope you continue to work hard for the things that you believe in.

And thank God for you Kelley. Not one of my proudest moments. I wish I could say this is the only time I've run out of gas...but my fiancee can prove otherwise.

I have a knack for pushing the envelope just a little too far.

Mr. Manship ran out of gas one day while he was on his way to Grissom to get on a bus in order to be shuttled to the site, luckily that morning after my A.M. bus route I decided to go towards Grissom and see if they needed more busses. I had heard on my bus radio one bus driver telling the other that they were being held up at the site and would be there as soon as they could unload. The other bus driver responded saying he was full and there were alot of people waiting and no bus for them to load. I turned into Grissom off of US 31 and as soon as I did, there was a car off on the side of the road....it was Mr. Manship. All I can say is God knows where to put people when they are needed. I picked him up and he left his car there and I got him on his way to the build site. He was a very nice young man!

what a blessing it was to be a part of the build one day & an observer the next when the family came home. ABC Extreme Home Makeover is a true testiment of what people can do if they just do it. It is that spirit that we need more of in this country everyday every where!

I brought my son (the little one standing on the fence) from Winona Lake (next to Warsaw). We left as soon as preschool was over. We had a great time despite the chilly, raining afternoon. We had a great time seeing everyone that came out for the reveal and seeing what goes on during reveal day. Everyone was so helpful, even a young man shared a blanket with my son since he was freezing. Thanks! Ethan was talking about it days later and how much fun he had and learning about the great things that were happening. The house is awsome and can't wait to see it air on tv.
